Who processes your data
Connections Solidaires, 12 rue de Liège, 67000 Strasbourg, France, is the controller of the personal data collected on this site. If you have any questions, write to contact@connectionsolidaires.org.
What we collect, and why
We only collect what we need, and only when you give it to us.
- Contact form — first name, surname, email address and message, so that we can reply to you. Lawful basis: your consent. Retention: twelve months after our last exchange.
- Shop order — your identity, email address, delivery address (if you choose delivery), and the contents and amount of your order, so that we can prepare and hand over your order and then keep our accounts. Lawful basis: performance of your order, then our accounting obligations. Retention: the statutory retention period for accounting records, namely ten years. We also ask for a phone number, so that we can reach you if preparing or handing over your order runs into a problem; it is used for that and nothing else.
- Donation — your identity, email address, postal address and date of birth, which are required in order to issue your tax receipt. Lawful basis: our legal and tax obligations. Retention: six years, the period during which the tax authorities may ask us to justify a receipt.
Your bank details do not pass through us
Your card is entered at HelloAsso, which operates the payment and is the controller for it. This site never has access to your card number and does not store it. HelloAsso applies its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to read at helloasso.com.
Who else sees your data
Nobody other than the people who administer the site and, as far as their own role requires, our technical providers: HelloAsso for payments and tax receipts, and our host [TO BE COMPLETED: host of the site and of the email service] for the site and for email. Address suggestions
When you enter a delivery address, the site suggests real addresses to help you avoid typing mistakes. Those suggestions come from the Base Adresse Nationale, a free public service run by the French state. Our server queries it, not your browser: only the characters you have just typed are sent, never your IP address, your name, or anything that could identify you. No cookie is set, and you are free to ignore the suggestions and type your address yourself.
Trackers and cookies
This site sets no cookies at all, neither advertising nor analytics: we have no idea how many of you are reading this, and we are fine with that. That is why you will not see any consent banner here — there is nothing to consent to. Your basket is kept in your browser’s local storage, on your own device, and disappears when you empty it; your choice of language depends solely on the link you click. The HelloAsso donation widget embedded on our donation pages may, however, set its own technical cookies, which are necessary for the payment to work.
Your rights
At any time you may ask to access your data, have it corrected, have it erased, restrict its use, object to its processing, or receive a copy of it. Write to contact@connectionsolidaires.org: we reply within one month. Some data cannot be erased before its statutory deadline — the accounting records for an order, or the supporting document for a tax receipt, for example — and we will tell you so plainly if that is the case.
If our answer does not satisfy you, you may refer the matter to the French data protection authority (CNIL), 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France, or lodge a complaint at cnil.fr.
Security
Exchanges with this site are encrypted. Access to the site’s administration area is restricted to authorised people within the association, each with their own password.
