How we work
Our projects are rarely decided in an office. They start from a request — a school that wants a vegetable garden, an association with an idea but no funding file, a family struggling to keep up with a child’s schooling — and are built with the people behind it.
Awareness-raising takes the form of workshops, public talks and school sessions. It is free for neighbourhood organisations and charged to companies, which is what funds the former.
Project development is the invisible work: writing a grant application, building a budget, keeping to a schedule, reporting back to the funder. We support around ten organisations a year, never in their place.
Solidarity trade and school sponsorship, finally, are two faces of the same conviction: a purchase can fund long-term support, and support is measured in years, not in terms.
