Connections Solidaires is in the process of applying for tax-exempt status. A receipt will be sent to you once this status, which allows for tax deductions on donations, is obtained.
What your donation funds
- €10 pays for one child’s place in an awareness workshop.
- €20 funds the supplies for a gardening workshop for five children.
- €30 covers printing educational materials for a group of 10 people.
- €50 funds participation in a public talk-and-debate event.
- €100 helps co-fund a small climate adaptation project in a vulnerable area.
Going further
Why give? Because our public funding is earmarked project by project: it pays for what was written in an application, rarely for what is missing on the day. An unrestricted donation buys the supplies for an unplanned workshop, a family’s train ticket, the fifteen school bags of September. It is the part of our budget that lets us say yes quickly.
Gifts in kind matter just as much. We are always looking for new school supplies, gardening tools, roadworthy bicycles and light furniture for our collection points. Please write to us before bringing anything: we only store what we know how to redistribute, and an item asleep in a storeroom helps nobody.
Corporate giving, finally, takes three forms with us: financial donations, skills-based support (accounting, design, IT) and hosting our awareness sessions for your teams. We draw up an agreement for each, and a written report at the end of the financial year.
